SAR (Suspicious Activity Reporting) Masterclass

The Public Private Partnership between the NTFIU (National Terrorist Finance Investigation Unit)  and GovSec is designed to reinforce the message on SAR Reporting and improve the intelligence flow between FSA legislated entities and law enforcement.

The provision of the SAR Masterclass will address the desire within SOCA (Serious Organised Crime Agency) and the Terrorist Financial Team (TFT) that SAR reports are submitted which include specific information  that  will reinforce the need for greater due dilligence on clients.

The course highlights:

• the journey of a SAR right through to a conclusion;

• a better understanding of Terrorist Financing methodology in the UK.

This will assist MLROs, Compliance Officers, Financial Crime Teams and SARs teams to see beyond financial crime and perhaps into a terrorist funding operation.

The SAR Masterclass is scenario based, designed to examine and better understand not only the technical/regulatory/legislative aspects of reporting, but will also achieve other learning outcomes for the industry.

The SAR Masterclass is practical in its approach as the whole session is interactive and designed to make  delegates work out solutions to identified financial criminality and to understand the best style (concise linear narrative) in which submit the intelligence.  The emphasis is on intelligence.

- For cancellation on the day of the training course, 100% of the value will be charged
- For cancellation within 1-4 days of the training course, 50% of the value will be charged
- No charge will be made with notifications of 5 days or more
- Non-attendance with no notice given, 100% of the value will be charged.
